in Standalone Mode Preparing the Equipment for Irradiation

Operating mode: the actual switching of magnet power supplies to direct the
beam to a specific treatment room is performed from the Energy Selection and
Beam Transport System (ESBTS) panel of the Beam Operation Manager (BOM),
which is running in the Main Control Room (MCR).
The scheduling mode can be Automatic or Manual.

When requesting beam, the state in the colored state bar successively proceeds
through the following states:
1. Not Ready
2. Beam Requested: this means the treatment room doors are not yet closed.
Upon closing the doors, the state bar will proceed to the next state.
3. Beam Request Pending (only when working in manual scheduling mode)
4. Waiting Preparation
5. Preparing Beam
6. Ready
Verifying the Room Interlocks
When the room interlocks are OK, on the ROOM INTERLOCKS PANEL - NOT READY of the
E
QUIPMENT PREPARATION SCREEN you receive a confirmation that all required safety
measures are in place to ensure safe treatment.
As long as the colored state bar does not read Ready (indicated by the green color),
you will not be able to proceed to irradiation.
