Out of tolerance: at least one of the listed positioning parameters is out of
tolerance, also indicated by the orange background of the status indication.
Note: Should you want to perform treatment with one or more positioning
parameters out of tolerance, you can do so but you will be prompted to sign an
acknowledgment first.
Not confirmed: the position has not been confirmed yet using the wireless
hand-pendant or the remote positioning controls.
Confirmed: the listed positioning parameters have been implemented in the
treatment room using the wireless hand-pendant or the remote positioning
controls, and the position has then been confirmed.
No proximity: verification by the proximity control software acknowledges that
no patient or device proximity hazard exists.
No collision: variations in PPS load cell readings are below the allowed limits.
Alignment devices retracted: the green check mark appears only if both flat
panels have been retracted.
Influence of Setup Position Corrections on a Subsequent
Treatment Beam
Any correction to a Setup beam influences the initial Prescribed value of (a)
subsequent treatment beam(s).
When you perform an Auto motion to the Setup or Treatment target positions using
the wireless hand-pendant or the remote positioning controls, the values of the
Setup or Treatment position are loaded.
An Adjusted Setup Beam followed by multiple
Treatment Beams
You can still adjust the prescribed Setup position (S
1
) if needed. These adjusted
positions (i.e., the values of the Setup position plus one or more adjustments - Δ)
form the new basis for the subsequent treatment beam (Tx
1
).
CAUTION The tolerance between configured and intended position of the snout
is 5 mm according to the system’s specifications.
Please consider this tolerance between configured and intended
position of the snout.
