Positioning Parameter Values
All positioning parameter values appear in three columns:
Ta r g e t : the position that is currently selected: 'SETUP', ‘TREATMENT’, 'LOAD',
'Gantry 270', etc. Positioning preparation will only be complete if the SETUP or
TREATMENT position is confirmed (and acknowledged, if out of tolerances).
Current: the current position.
Delta: these are the differences between the currently selected Ta r g e t position
and the actual (i.e., Current) position.
Note: During PPS motion, the delta is continuously updated and shows the
remaining corrections.
Values can appear with the following background colors:
White: within tolerance
Ye l l o w : out of tolerance; if you want to proceed to treatment with this value you
will have to sign an acknowledgment.
If the Delta value has a yellow background, this means that the currently selected
Target is not yet reached.
If the Current value has a yellow background, this means that the Current position
is out of tolerance compared to the SETUP or TREATMENT position received from
adaPTdeliver.
Note: The SETUP or TREATMENT position is not always identical to Ta r g e t , e.g., if
a target other than SETUP or TREATMENT is selected, such as CORRECTED.
Ta r g e t is not always the value from the plan as it is influenced by previous
alignments: e.g., from alignments made on previous days for the first beam of a
fraction (setup or treatment), or from a previous setup alignment in the same fraction
when preparing a treatment beam.
