Maximum Field Size FY (cm): in PBS, extension of the beam along the Y-
axis, specified by means of parameters FY, Y1, Y2, expressed in cm.
FX, FY are the difference in Xg and Yg coordinates between the center
of the two extreme spots.
X1, X2, Y1, Y2 are the edges spot center positions expressed in IEC
Beam Limiting Device CS.
Example:
Field Size FX (X1..X2) [cm] 4.8 (-2.6 .. +2.2) ;
Field Size FY (Y1..Y2) [cm] 4.8 (-2.0 .. +2.8).

Number of Layers
Type of repainting: to view the name of the repainting type in addition to the
icon, hover the mouse pointer over this field. A popup appears with the
name of the repainting type.
For detailed information on multiple repainting types, refer to Chapter 22,
“PBS Multiple Repainting”.
1. The Distal Open Beam range and Proximal Open Beam range values are defined
according to ICRU49 (International Commission on Radiation Units and Mea-
surements - Report 49).
