This is an alternative to manually editing each field in the spot detail lines and may
save you some time.
Below the Rescale layer button, the ‘Final Cumulative Meterset Weight’ field
displays the sum of the weights of all the layers in the beam.
Note: Each beam is planned to deliver a total number of MUs. Each spot of the
beam is assigned a certain weight, which is a percentage of the total number of
MUs. The cumulative meterset weight of the layer is the sum of the weight of each
spot from this layer and the previous ones.
Note: The ‘Final Cumulative Meterset Weight’ number logically corresponds to the
number in the ‘Cumulative Weight’ field of the last layer in the beam.
Spot details pane: this is a list of the spots in the selected layer. For each spot,
the following information is listed:
Index: this is automatically assigned and cannot be edited.
X [cm]: the spot position along the X (IEC) axis. This field can be edited.
Y [cm]: the spot position along the Y (IEC) axis. This field can be edited.
Weight: the weight of the current spot. This field can be edited.
MU/Spot: this is the number of MUs to be deposited in the current spot.
This field cannot be edited.
Some characteristics of the layer list panel:
You can modify the width of the columns in the panel, if desired.
If a column is not wide enough to display all data, four dots appear to indicate
that more precise data is available. Extend the width of the column to view the
complete data.
