the settings (not for all settings).
4.1.1. User preferences
This is where you can set the basic parameters of your digital receiver (see
picture 14).
4.1.1.1. Menu Language
The GUI display may be shown in a variety of languages. Press “OK” (6) and
use the directional keys “Up” and “Down” select the desired language, and
then con rm by pressing the “OK” key (6).
Note:
The language used for information about programmes in the EPG (chapter 4.3) does not depend from this selection.
4.1.1.2. OSD Transparency
The transparency of OSD can also be adjusted, i.e. the degree to which the TV image is visible through the overlay of the on-screen
menu. Select this option pressing “OK” key (6) and using the directional keys “Up” and “Down” select the degree of transparency, from
0% to 60%, then con rm by pressing the “OK” key (6).
4.1.1.3. Pop-up Timeout
When switching between programmes, for instance, a message is brie y displayed with program information (Now/Next EPG). The
duration of this message being displayed can be set, from 1 to 9 seconds. Select this option by pressing “OK” (6) and using the
directional keys “Up” and “Down” to select the time-out, then con rm by pressing the “OK” key (6).
4.1.1.4. Soundtrack
Some programmes are broadcasted in different languages. You can select your language preference with the directional keys and
con rm the selection by pressing the “OK” key (6). If a multi-lingual program is broadcast, then your selected language is automatically
taken into consideration.
4.1.1.5. Primary Subtitle Language
Some programmes are broadcast with different subtitles. You can select your subtitle preference with the directional keys and con rm
the selection by pressing the “OK” key (6). If multi-subtitle programmes are broadcast, then your selected language is automatically
taken into consideration.
4.1.1.6. Secondary Subtitle Language
Use this if the broadcasts are using multiple subtitle languages and your favorite choice is not available all the time. So in this case the
PVR will present you the secondary subtitle selected language.
4.1.1.7. History depth
If you want to switch between the last 2, 3 or 4 selected programmes, you can use the “History” key (23) on your remote control. With
this option, you can de ne history depth for this key. Select history depth 1, 2 or 3 with the directional keys and con rm the selection
by pressing the “OK” key (6).
4.1.1.8. Quick Save List
You can use this option to specify into which favourite list your favourites will be automatically saved. You may select from the list of
existing favourite lists or choose “Select FAV from list” to allow you to choose the location later, while adding favourites.
4.1.1.9. OSD colour
You can change the colour of the GUI with this option. Select the preferred colour set with the “OK” key or directional “Left” and “Right”
keys.
