2.3.2 Measurements using 2cc coupler
Should it be impossible to rely on the cooperation of the patient for the
entire duration of an REM test, measurements can be acquired by way of a
coupler using the RECD unit, or a Drum instrument connected to the same
PC as the Trumpet.
It is very important that the probe microphones are correctly
calibrated every time a new tube is used. Incorrect or failed
calibrations can influence the acquisition of curves and lead to
false measurements.
It is advisable, where possible, to use the REM probes inserted in
the headset
