Q: Why can’t I find books I’ve copied from my computer?
A: Copied books can be accessed in My Library by tapping on Date, Title or
Author and then select Local from the drop-down list.
Q: Why can’t I see my Barnes & Noble eBooks in My Library anymore?
A: You may be displaying “local” eBooks instead. Tap
Date, Title or Author
and then select
B&N from the drop-down list.
Q: I performed a firmware update and now my Barnes & Noble books are
not displayed in My Library.
A: Performing a firware update deletes all Barnes & Noble eBooks. Re-
download them from your Barnes & Noble account using the
Get Books
feature (pg. 23).
Q: Can I create personal bookshelves for organizing my eBooks?
A: Yes. In
My Library, tap Bookshelves (pg. 27).
Q: Do I need an account with Barnes & Noble to download from their site?
A: Yes. You do need an account to download sample eBooks or purchased
eBooks from their site into the device.

Q: What type of photo files can I view on my
pandigital novel?
A: JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, non-animated GIF
Q: How do I add photo files to my
pandigital novel?
A: You can copy photo files from your computer (pg. 61).

Q: Can I view media files in either vertical or horizontal orientation?
A: Yes, to automatically switch viewing orientation, simply turn the device
while viewing.
Q: Can I change the size of the displayed text?
A: Yes. Tap on the top of the screen to display the
Reader Function Menu,
 tap Font Size and then select the desired size from the drop-down list.
Q: Can I easily jump to a specific page?
A: Yes. Use either
Bookmarks (pg. 30) or the Go To function (pg. 32).
Q: Can I play music and read at the same time?
A: Yes. You can tap the
