Chapter 4: Fault Diagnosis

This chapter introduces the solutions, service information and

repair issue of devices malfunction and abnormal situation.

4.1 User-solvable Problem

Table 4-1 lists some user-solvable problems regarding the radio

frequency identification system composed of reader and

electronic tag.

Problem Likely cause Solution

The power supply

indicator doesn’t

light up after the

reader is switched

on.

The socket of AC

junction box

malfunction.

Apply another AC

electrical appliance

such as a bulb to the

socket to see if it

works. If not, please

check out the power

supply or replace the

socket.
