Removing/Installing Foldover Back Upholstery
WARNING
The position of the footrest, seat angle, back angle, seating system/upholstery, castor size and
position, rear wheel size and position, use of anti-tippers, as well as the user condition directly
relate to the stability of the wheelchair. Any change to one or any combination of the ten may
cause the wheelchair to decrease in stability. EXTREME care MUST be taken when changing the
stability of the wheelchair. Refer to the chart in General Guidelines on page 14 of this manual.

Removing Foldover Back Upholstery
1. Unfastenthetwofasteningflapsthatsecurethebottomoftheexistingbackupholsterytothebackposts.
2. Unfoldthetopofthebackupholstery.
3. Liftupontheexistingbackupholsteryandremovefromthewheelchair.
Installing Foldover Back Upholstery
1. Installthenewbackupholsteryontothebackposts.
2. Wraptheendofafasteningflaparoundthebackpost.
3. Inserttheendofthefasteningflapthroughtheloop.
4. Wrapthefasteningflaparoundthebackpostagainandpressfirmlytosecure.
5. Foldthetopofthebackupholsterydownover
thebackpoststowardsthefrontofthewheelchair.
6. Pressfirmlytosecurethefasteningstrips.

Adjustable Tension Back Upholstery
WARNING
