Toensurethebattery(s)maintaintheiroptimalchargelevel,utilize
theACpoweradapterwheneveryouhaveaccesstoelectricpower.
UtilizetheDCpowercablewheneveryouareinavehicle.

Batteryexhaustionwillresultinalossofsupplemental
oxygen.Toensurepropersupplementaloxygendelivery
duringapoweroutage:
–Plugyourportableconcentratorintoanalternate
powersource.
–Haveanalternatesourceofoxygenavailablethatdoes
notrequireapowersource.
WhattoDo
•Whenyoufirstreceiveyourconcentrator,fullycharge
thebattery(s)overnight.
•Keepyourbattery(s)fullychargedwhenusingtheconcentrator
onadailybasis.
•Yourconcentratorbattery(s)canberechargedatanytime.
•Alwaysensuretheconcentratorbattery(s)arerecharged
assoonaspossibleaftertheybecomefullydischarged.The
battery(s)maybepermanentlydegradedifleftfullydischarged
foranextendedlengthoftime.
•Checkthestatusofyourconcentratorbattery(s)onceamonth
ifyouarenotusingyourconcentratoronadailybasis.Battery(s)
shouldbemaintainedattwoilluminatedbarsworthofchargeif

•DONOTstorebattery(s)fullycharged(fourbarsilluminated
ontheunit’sbatterygauge)ifyouaregoingtostoreyour
concentratorforanytimegreaterthanaday.Rechargeor
dischargethebatterytotwobars(50%charge)only.Storinga
batterywithafullchargemaydegradeitsusefullife.
•DONOTleaveyourbattery(s)installedintotheconcentrator
whentheconcentratorisnotgoingtobeusedformorethan
aday.Thebattery(s)willlosechargewhilepluggedintothe
concentratorevenwiththeconcentratorturnedoff.
