3.Monitorthebatterychargelevelandchargeuntilfull.Referto
BatteryGaugeforInstalledandUninstalledBattery(s)inSetup.
4.DisconnecttheACpoweradapterfromtheconcentratorfor
portableoperation.
IMPORTANT
Aconcentratorwillnotturnonunlessthebatteryis
charged.
–ConnecttheACpowertotheconcentratorandallow
batterytofullychargepriortofirstuse.
–RefertoSpecificationsinTechnicalDatafor
approximatechargetimes.
ChargingtheBattery(s)AfterInitialCharging
Theinstalledbattery(s)canbechargedwhetherthe
concentratorisonoroff.
1.Forchargingofthebattery(s)afterinitialcharging,dooneof
thefollowing:
•ConnecttheACpoweradapter(ifchargingfromawall
outlet).RefertoExternalACPowerinSetup.
•ConnecttheDCpowercable(ifchargingfromavehicle).
RefertoExternalDCPowerinSetup.
•RemovebatteryandchargewiththeoptionalExternal
BatteryChargeraccessory,ModelPOC1–115.
2.Monitorthebatterychargelevelandchargeuntilfull.Referto
BatteryGaugeforInstalledandUninstalledBattery(s)inSetup.
3.Disconnectexternalpowerfromtheconcentratorforportable
operation.

ThebatterygaugeAshowsthestatusoftheinstalledbatterycharge
levelwhentheconcentratoristurnedonandwhentheconcentrator
isoffbutconnectedtoanexternalpowersource.Thenumber
ofilluminatedsegmentsBofthebatterygaugeAindicatesthe
chargeleveloftheinstalledbattery.Iftwobatteriesareinstalledthe
indicatedchargelevelisthatoftheleastchargedbattery.
