Theoxygenconcentratorcomesequippedwithasinglerechargeable
lithiumbattery.Uptotwobatteriescanbeinstalledinthe
concentrator.Whenfullycharged,asinglebatterysuppliespowerfor
uptofivehours,dependingonthepulseflowsetting.Twobatteries
cansupplypowerforuptotenhourswhenfullycharged,depending
onthepulseflowsetting.
Abatterycanbeinstalledwhiletheconcentratorisoperatingfrom
anexternalpowersourceorasecondchargedbattery.
1.OpenthebatterycompartmentdoorF.
2.WithbatteryfuelgaugelabelAfacingtowardthefrontofthe
oxygenconcentratorB,slowlylowerbatteryCstraightdown
intooneofthetwoslotsinthebatterycompartmentD.
UsetheliftringEtoholdthebatterywhileinstallingit.
Thebatterywillnotfitproperlyinthebattery
compartmentifnotorientedasdescribedabove.
3.Ensurethebatteryfullyengagesthebatteryconnectionslocated
atthebottomofthebatterycompartment.Whenfullyinserted,
thetopofthebatteryislevelwiththetopedgeofthebattery
compartment.

closingthisbatterydoor.
–DONOTuseconcentratorwithbatterydoor
open.
4.Ifasecondbatteryisbeingused(soldseparately),installitinthe
samemannerintheunoccupiedbatteryslot.
5.ClosethebatterycompartmentdoorF.

InitialChargingoftheBattery(s)
Usingtheconcentratorforthefirsttimerequiresthebattery(s)to
becharged.Batteriesareshippedina“sleep”modeandaninitial
chargecycleisrequiredto“wake”upthebatteries.Tochargethe
battery(s),performthefollowingsteps:
