3.1Unpacking
1.Checkforanyobviousdamagetothecartonoritscontents.If
damageisevident,notifythecarrieroryourlocaldealer.
2.Removeallloosepackingfromthecarton.
3.Carefullyremoveallthecomponentsfromthecartons.The
Invacareconcentrator’spackagingcontainsthefollowingitems
(asshownbelow)inadditiontothisusermanual.Ifanypartsare
missing,pleasecontactyourequipmentprovider.
•Concentrator(ModelPOC1–100B)withcarrybag(Model
POC1–150)installed
•Cannula(Westmed#0194)
•Twoshoulderstraps(PartNumber1187483)
•Battery(ModelPOC1–110)
•ACpoweradapter(PartNumber1187452)

Retainallcontainersandpackingmaterialsforstorageor
returnshipment.
3.2Inspection
Inspect/examineexterioroftheoxygenconcentratorandaccessories
fordamage.Inspectallcomponents.Ifdamageisfound,DONOT
useconcentrator.Contactyourproviderforserviceand/orrepairor
forassistancewiththesetupprocedureandtoreportunexpected
operationorevents.
3.3PoweringtheOxygenConcentrator
WARNING!
RiskofInjuryorDamage
Toavoidinjuryanddamagethatwillvoidthewarranty:
–UseonlyInvacarespecifiedpowersupplieswiththe
oxygenconcentrator.
–PriortousingtheDCpowercable,theautomobile
(boat,motorhome,etc.)engineshouldberunning
inordertoeitheroperateorchargetheoxygen
concentrator.
IMPORTANT
Theconcentratorwillnotturnonunlessthebatteryis
charged.
–ConnectACpowertotheconcentratorandallow
batterytofullychargepriortofirstuse.
Theoxygenconcentratorallowsthefreedomtochoosefromthe
followingpowersourcestoenableusebothinsideandoutsideof
thehome:

•ACpoweroutlet
