2.3RadioFrequencyInterference
MedicalElectricalEquipmentneedstobeinstalledandusedaccording
totheEMCinformationinthismanual.
ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywithEMClimits
specifiedbyIEC/EN60601-1-2.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovide
areasonableprotectionagainstelectromagneticinterferenceina
typicalhomehealthcareenvironment.
PortableandmobileRFcommunicationsequipmentcanaffectthe
operationofthisequipment.Useofthisequipmentadjacenttoor
stackedwithotherequipmentshouldbeavoidedasitcouldresultin
improperoperation.Theconcentratoroperationshouldbeobserved
toverifynormaloperationinthepresenceofsuchequipment.
Otherdevicesmayexperienceinterferencefromeventhelowlevels
ofelectromagneticemissionspermittedbytheabovestandards.To
determineiftheemissionsfromtheconcentratorarecausingthe
interference,turntheconcentratoroff.Iftheinterferencewith
theotherdevice(s)stops,thentheconcentratoriscausingthe
interference.Insuchrarecases,interferencemaybereducedor
correctedbyoneofthefollowingmeasures:
•Reposition,relocate,orincreasetheseparationbetweenthe
equipment.
•Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfrom
thattowhichtheotherdevice(s)isconnected.
