6.2 Troubleshooting: Mechanical
SYMPTOM PROBABLE CAUSE SOLUTIONS
Bed does not stay in place. Locking casters not locked. Lock casters.
Bed sections do not move. Pull tube Check pull tube(s) for binding. Call dealer for
repairs.
Bed ends move in opposite
directions (electrical
or manual bed).
Drive shaft connected to wrong gear
box shaft.
Call dealer.
Hi/Lo function does not work. Drive shaft disconnected.
Call dealer

Pressing function on pendant results in motion
other than that intended.
Motor cable connections to junction
