railsystem.RefertotheI-Transiausermanualforsafety
informationrelatedtousingandmaintainingthehoist.
–Readtheinstructionscarefullybeforeusingthe
I-Transiaandinconnectionwithcleaningandservice
ofthehoist.
–Thefreestandingsystemcanbesetupandtakendown
byoneperson.
–Thefreestandingrailsystemshouldbesetuponalevel
surface.
–TheI-Transia’smaximumloadmustneverbeexceeded.
–TheI-Transiamayonlybeusedtoliftormoveaperson
withdisabilities.
–Thefreestandingrailsystemmustnotbeusedforany
otherpurposethanthatstatedinthisusermanual.The
railsystemisnotaplaygroundoraswingdevice.
–IftheI-Transiafailswhileinuse,stopusingthehoist,
transferthepatientusingadifferentmethodand
contactanInvacaredealerforrepairbyacertified
technician.
–Thisproductismechanicallyprotectedagainstderailing
andjamming.
–Theendstopshavetobeproperlyinstalledandlocked
withspringpins,andthe2yellowthumbscrewson
thetopbracketshavetobeproperlytightenedbefore
usingthesystem.
–Checkthefreestandingsystemregularlytoensureit
isstable.

2.3LoadLimits
Readthelabeloneachcomponentwhichindicatesthemaximumload
limitsforeachcomponent.
Thecomponent,e.g.hangerbar,liftingsling,etc.labelledwiththe
lowestloadlimitdeterminesthemaximumloadlimitfortheentire
system.
Thismaximumloadlimitmustnotbeexceeded.
Pleasenotethatthemaxloadmaychangewhendifferentcomponents
areused,suchashangerbars,liftingslings,etc.
