railsystem.RefertotheI-Transiausermanualforsafety
informationrelatedtousingandmaintainingthehoist.
Readtheinstructionscarefullybeforeusingthe
I-Transiaandinconnectionwithcleaningandservice
ofthehoist.
Thefreestandingsystemcanbesetupandtakendown
byoneperson.
Thefreestandingrailsystemshouldbesetuponalevel
surface.
TheI-Transia’smaximumloadmustneverbeexceeded.
TheI-Transiamayonlybeusedtoliftormoveaperson
withdisabilities.
Thefreestandingrailsystemmustnotbeusedforany
otherpurposethanthatstatedinthisusermanual.The
railsystemisnotaplaygroundoraswingdevice.
IftheI-Transiafailswhileinuse,stopusingthehoist,
transferthepatientusingadifferentmethodand
contactanInvacaredealerforrepairbyacertified
technician.
Thisproductismechanicallyprotectedagainstderailing
andjamming.
Theendstopshavetobeproperlyinstalledandlocked
withspringpins,andthe2yellowthumbscrewson
thetopbracketshavetobeproperlytightenedbefore
usingthesystem.
Checkthefreestandingsystemregularlytoensureit
isstable.

ThehangerbarBcanmovesuddenlyandcauseinjury.

2.3LoadLimits
Readthelabeloneachcomponentwhichindicatesthemaximumload
limitsforeachcomponent.
Thecomponent,e.g.hangerbar,liftingsling,etc.labelledwiththe
lowestloadlimitdeterminesthemaximumloadlimitfortheentire
system.
Thismaximumloadlimitmustnotbeexceeded.
Pleasenotethatthemaxloadmaychangewhendifferentcomponents
areused,suchashangerbars,liftingslings,etc.
