Control Solution
Symbol Description
When you insert a new cartridge into the meter,
the meter will display the following symbol showing
the # of days to discard date shown on the meter
display to use all tests. The meter will prevent use
of the cartridge aer the discard date. Note: 15 days
is example only. The meter will show the correct
discard days.
This symbol appears if you insert a partially-used
cartridge. The meter is unable to determine the
discard date. Do not use aer the discard date.
Meter temperature is out of operating temperature
range. Allow meter and cartridges to adjust to the
operating temperature range before testing.
Expired Cartridge. Cartridge is past expiration date.
Do not use the test cartridge past the expiration
date (
Use by:) printed on cartridge label.
