Procedure for
WiBAS-
Connect TS
with Panel
Antenna
To perform WiBAS-Connect TS panel antenna alignment, please follow the
steps below:
Step Action
1 Perform coarse alignment, as follows:
Use the respective spanner key to rotate the assembly on the pole so that the
antenna is “visually” aligned with the target base station sector.
 Use compass and binoculars for alignment.
 Use the RF planning values for aligning the assembly to the target base
station sector.
 Use the adjustable U-Wrench to apply the final tightening torque (M8 u-
bolts nuts max tightening torque 15 Nm).
 U-Bolt fully tightening. Do not over tighten. Overtightening will cause
deformation of the support clamp.
2 Power on the terminal station.
Connect the RSSI cable as described to RSSI cable connection procedure on page
42.
