2. In the Channels section of the NDIS Driver Setup dialog
box, select the channel and click (Delete).
Manually Connecting a Channel
A channel connection is usually established automatically
when LAN frames are routed to the NDIS driver. You can
manually create a channel connection to use for testing the
physical port connection and WAN protocol level.
To manually connect a channel, do the following:
1. If needed, start the NDIS driver Setup utility, as
described in Starting the NDIS Driver Setup Utility on
page 64.
2. In the Channels section of the NDIS Driver Setup dialog
box, select the channel and click (Activate).
NOTE
The Activate button is enabled only when you select
outgoing call channels with a disconnected status.
Manually Disconnecting a Channel
A channel connection is usually disconnected automatically
due to inactivity. You can manually disconnect a channel to use
for testing the physical port at the WAN protocol level.
