Wireless 802.11 Network Settings
You can view and configure wireless 802.11 network settings from:
• the printer web page.
• PrintSet version 5.2 or later.
Wireless 802.11 Network Settings 
Setting Description Default
Default Router Specifies the IP address of a router 
that is used when a device sends a 
packet to another subnet or to an 
unknown destination.
0.0.0.0
IP Assignment 
Method? (IPv4)
Specifies how the printer obtains its 
IP address:
• DHCP (Dynamic Host 
Configuration Protocol): The 
printer automatically receives its 
settings from a DHCP server.
• BOOTP (BOOTstrap Protocol): 
The printer automatically 
receives its settings from a 
BOOTP server.
• DHCP+BOOTP: The printer 
probes the network to receive its 
settings either from a DHCP 
server or from a BOOTP server.
• Manual: Manually configure the 
communications settings. If you 
select this option, you also need 
to configure IP Address, Subnet 
Mask, and Default Router.
DHCP
IP Address (IPv4) Specifies the unique network level 
address assigned to each device in a 
TCP/IP network.
