Wireless 802.11 Network Settings
This section describes the 802.11 IPv4 and IPv6 settings. To view these
settings:
• From the printer Main Menu, select Settings > Communications
> Wireless 802.11 > Network > IPv4 or IPv6.
• From the printer web page, click the Configure tab >
Communications > Wireless 802.11.

(IPv4) IP
Assignment
Method
Sets how the printer obtains an IP address (for IPv4
networks).
DHCP
(IPv4) IP Address Sets the unique network-level address that is assigned to
each device in an IPv4 network.
0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask Sets a number that defines the range of IP addresses that
can be used in an IPv4 network.

Default Router Sets the IP address of a router that is used when a device
sends a packet to another subnet or to an unknown
destination.

DHCP Response Sets if the printer receives DHCP responses by broadcast or
unicast.
