SetAuthenticationMode()
Call this function to set the desired authentication mode.
Syntax
UINT SetAuthenticationMode( ULONG );
Parameters
NDIS_RADIO_AUTH_MODE_OPEN 802.11b Open Authentication. In-
dicates that the radio is using an
open system.
NDIS_RADIO_AUTH_MODE_SHARED 802.11b Shared Authentication. In-
dicates that the radio is using a
shared key.
NDIS_RADIO_AUTH_MODE_AUTO Auto switch between Open/Shared.
Indicates automatic detection is
used when available.
NDIS_RADIO_AUTH_MODE_ERROR Defined as error value. Indicates the
authentication mode was not deter-
mined at this time or is unknown.

NDIS_RADIO_AUTH_MODE_WPA_PSK WPA Preshared Key Authentication
NDIS_RADIO_AUTH_MODE_WPA_NONE WPA None
Return Values
ERROR_SUCCESS when successful,
ERR_QUERY_FAILED when the query failed, or
ERR_CONNECT_FAILED if a connection with the radio failed.
