Chapter 3 — Configuring the CV30
CV30 Fixed Mount Computer With Windows CE User’s Manual 47
The pre-shared key may be given in hexadecimal by prefixing
a string of 64 hex digits with 0x for a total of 66 characters, or
by entering a passphrase of 8 to 63 characters.
The pre-shared key value must exactly match the key on the
authenticator.
7 Save your settings.
Configuring 802.1x Security With Funk Security
1 Open Intermec Settings.
2 Make sure you have configured the communications
parameters and selected Funk as your security choice.
3 Choose Communications > 802.11 Radio > Funk Security
> Profile.
4 For Association, choose Open.
5 For Encryption, choose WEP.
6 For Authentication, choose TTLS, PEAP, or TLS.
If you choose TTLS or PEAP:
a Select User name and type your user name.
