e Tap OK. The Enrollment Tool message box appears telling you
that the certificate has been added.
f Tap OK to close the message box.
Disabling Security
If you choose not to use security with your wireless network, you can
disable it on the computer. Intermec recommends that you always set
security in your network.
To disable security:
1 Start Intermec Settings. For help, see “Configuring the
Computer” on page 59.
2 Choose Communications > 802.11 Radio > Security Choice and
select Microsoft Security. An alert box appears telling you that
you must save your settings and warm boot the 70 Series for the
new security choice to take effect.
3 Choose Yes. The 70 Series resets and starts with Microsoft Security
as the Security Choice.
4 Start Intermec Settings.
5 Choose Communications > 802.11 Radio > Microsoft Security.
6 For Network Authentication, choose Open.
7 For Data Encryption, choose Disabled.
8 Tap OK. Your settings are saved.
