Chapter 1 — Using the CN4
CN4 Series Mobile Computer User’s Manual 3
The CN4 and CN4e are available with the following features:
• 802.11b/g radio standard
• Bluetooth® radio standard
• 128 MB RAM
• QWERTY or numeric keypads
• Imaging options:
• EA21 Standard Area Imager
• Color Camera
• Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) options:
• UMTS/HSDPA
• GSM/GPRS/EDGE
• CDMA/1xRTT/EV-DO Rev A
Use this manual to understand how to use the features and options
available on the CN4 and CN4e.
Finding the Software Build Versions
You can easily check to see what version of the operating system and
the SmartSystems Platform Bundle (SSPB) are loaded on your CN4.
Note: The radio also supports the 802.11d standard. The 802.11d
standard adds the requirements and definitions for 802.11 WLAN
equipment to operate in markets not served by the current standard.
For 802.11d support, you need to order the 802.11d version of the
CN4. For help, contact your local Intermec representative.

installed on the CN4, see the online Help. For additional information
about using Windows Mobile 6.1 on the CN4, visit Intermec
