3. Connect the white wire from the Compressor Defender™ to
the neutral connection in the panel as shown in Figure 3.
4. Connect the two black wires to the load side of the circuit
breaker that is supplying power to the compressor/pump as
shown in Figure 3.
NOTE: The black wires may be connected to the line or load
side from the AC disconnect.
5. Connect the supplied 24 VAC thermostat wire. Splice Com-
pressor Defender™ thermostat control wires into the Y1 ter-
minal thermostat wire as shown in Figure 4.
6. Ensure all mounting and electrical connections are correct
and securely fastened.
7. Reconnect condensing unit power at circuit breaker(s) and
at the 24 VAC thermostat circuit. The green LED ashes to
indicate the unit is in short cycle delay.
