Specification
The time switch shall be of the repeat cycle type, capable of permitting short duration cycling. The cycle timer dial shall
complete one revolution every ________________ (10 Minutes)(30 Minutes)(1 Hour)(4 Hours) and shall provide tripper
actuating time of ____________ (5 Seconds)(15 Seconds)(30 Seconds)(120 Seconds). The time switch to be powered
by ____________ (125)(250) VAC, 60 Hz power supply. The time switch motor shall be a synchronous motor, which shall
be designed to withstand a minimum of 6000 Volt transients. The time switch motor shall be connected to the supply
terminals with ring-type connectors and shall not require more than 3 Watts to operate the time switch. The time switch
mechanism shall be a snap-in design to aid mechanism removal from the enclosure. The time switch enclosure shall be
a Type 1 lockable steel enclosure, which shall be painted with an electrostatic painting process to eliminate the potential
for corrosion. The time switch enclosure shall provide a minimum of 31 cubic inches of wiring space and shall provide a
non-removable cover, which shall open a full 180 degrees. The time switch shall provide a non-curling terminal insulator.
Switch conguration shall be SPDT with a listed switch rating of:
• 20 Amp Resistive, 125 and 208-277 VAC
• ½ HP, 125 VAC
• 1 HP, 250 VAC
The time switch shall be agency listed under Clock Operated Switches and shall be Intermatic model _____________
