Deleting a
User
Note: Package Track will not delete a user who is active in the system. A
user is considered active in the system when he/she is associated with a
package record. If you try to delete a user who is active in the system, a
dialog appears, telling you that this user cannot be deleted. Click OK to
return to the Users list window.
To delete a user:
1. Select the Entry you want to delete in the Users list window.
2. Next, click the Delete button along the bottom of the Users list window.
A dialog box appears, asking you to confirm the deletion.
3. Click Yes to delete this user record. You are returned to the Users list
window. (Notice that the record has been deleted from the list.)
Lookups
Package Track lookups store descriptive package information such as the
delivery carrier, package location, and package type. Lookups categories in
the application include:
Mailroom: please see Adding a Mailroom” on page 88
Carrier: please see Adding a Carrier” on page 91
Location: please see Adding a Location” on page 100
Package Type: please see Adding a Package Type” on page 102
Lookup information is added in the Lookup record windows. To reach
Package Track Lookups, click Configuration > Lookup Tables in the
menu bar.
