2.4.6 DMZ
The DMZ host feature
allows one local host
to be exposed to the
Internet for a special-
purpose service, such
as Internet gaming or
videoconferencing.
DMZ Host forwards
all the ports at the same time. Any PC whose port is being forwarded
must have its DHCP client function disabled and should have a new
static IP address assigned to it because its IP address may change
when using the DHCP function.
DMZ Enable — Select to enable the function.
DMZ Host IP Address — Enter an IP address; e.g., 192.168.1.34.
2.4.7 Anti-ARP Cheating
On this screen, you
can set the device
to send packets to
other hosts to refresh
their ARP (address
resolution protocol)
cache. You can also
add static IP-MAC
address entries to
local ARP caches.
Use of this function
can be helpful in preventing ARP viruses or fake MAC addresses.

Information and WAN
Interface Information.
