WIRELESS NETWORKING
These products comply with the latest specifi cation, 802.11n Draft 2.0, offering higher throughput than existing wireless products,
and providing greater distance coverage as well. They are backward compatible with previous wireless technology, like 802.11g
and 802.11b, and can be installed into existing networks without concern for compatibility or interoperability.
Higher Speed Throughput
Boasting a data transmission rate of up to 300 Mbps, these products are ideal for streaming video and other high bandwidth
intensive applications.
Multi-vendor Compatible
All three of these products are 802.11n Draft 2.0 compatible, meaning they will operate with other vendors’ Wireless N products,
that are 802.11n Draft 2.0 Certifi ed. This is critical because as PCs and laptops start shipping with Wireless N adapters in
them, and as Internet Service Providers start shipping 802.11n routers to their customers you need to know that your products
will not only interoperate without problems, but that they will also deliver maximum performance.
Greater Distance Coverage
The 802.11n Wireless standard includes the use of MIMO technology, already proven to deliver better coverage distance
than previous 802.11g, b, a, and Super G. Not only do you get longer distance coverage, but the versatile MIMO antenna
technology improves wireless connectivity in environments with thick walls, cordless phones, and other forms of interference.
Although Wireless [Pre] N products have been in the market for over a year now, it was not until June 26th, of this year that
the Wi-Fi Alliance fi nalized their Wi-Fi 802.11n , Draft 2.0 certifi cation test plan. Compliance to the test plan ensures a
product’s interoperability with other Wi-Fi devices in the consumer and enterprise markets.
“We expect a rapid market acceptance of wireless products running 802.11n because of their ability to stream video between
devices,” says David Surber, vice president of engineering for TÜVRheinland. “We are proud to be one of the fi rst labs authorized
by the Wi-Fi Alliance to perform 802.11n testing, enabling our clients worldwide to meet that market demand.”
You can be sure that all INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS Wireless N products will be compatible and interoperate with
other 802.11n Draft 2.0 wireless products.
