3.2 Prole Management
If you need to connect to different wireless APs at different times — such as when
you’re at a cybercafe or using a
public wireless service — you
can store the connection
parameters (encryption,
security, passphrase, etc.) as a
prole for every access point so
you don’t have to keep entering the parameters every time you want to connect to
a specic wireless AP. To manage proles, right-click the conguration utility icon
and click “Launch Cong Utility.”
Click the “Prole” menu. All proles will be displayed in the Prole List (as shown
in the image below), and when you select a prole from the list, all information
about it will be shown.

a specifi c wireless AP. To manage profi les, right-click the confi guration utility icon
and click “Launch Confi g Utility.”
Click the “Profi le” menu. All profi les will be displayed in the Profi le List (as shown
in the image below), and when you select a profi le from the list, all information
about it will be shown.
