You must follow the steps in 3.1 for proper configuration of your PI 100
4.3.5 Interface for auto-activation ITA 700
You can automatically command from any extension an external device such as
bell, alarm, light, etc. You can connect up to 2 interfaces for external activation.
See items 1.5.4 and 3.7.
To install
:
- First interface must be connected to CN30 and the second to CN31:
4.3.5.1 Emergency Call Device
An extension or external device can generate na emergency call with the contact
key usually opened. This call will be forwarded to an extension or external number.
The device is connected to the PABX through the interface for auto-activation.
If the call was originated by an extension, there will be a regular conversation. If
generated by an external device, the extension or external number receive a beep
sequence or message prompt (DISA board required).
