Background music selection
The PABX offers the possibility to have internal or external background music
(radio, CD Player, sound system, etc.).
To install
:
- Connect the wires of the external music source to MUSA and MUSB of CN29 of
the main board ;
- Select the position MUS.EXT in J3 of the main board.
Important
:
- The music source must have na impedence of 4
or 8
. The volume control
can be achieved from either the music source or the
TRIMPOT
TP3 of the main
board. To turn the volume up, you need to rotate the trimpot anti-clocwise and
clockwise to turn it down. If the music source is the same as used for the music
system, use the pre-amplifier output to connect to the PABX.
Observation
:
- The caller will not hear the sound when the call is transferred if the music
selection is set to (MUS.EXT), and there is no external music source connected
(radio, CD Player, etc.).
