1 EXTENSIONS OPERATION

ANSWERING CALLS
All incoming will be answered by the extension programmed as operator ( attendant).
If the call is not answered within the programme dtime, it will be forwarded to
another extension set as overflow attendant.
For more details, see Line attendant, Overflow attendant and Overflow time in the
PABX programming manual.

Incoming call path using DISA board

Direct call answering by destination extension
:

The caller dials the extension number using a telephone compatible with the
DISA board. The destination extension receives long ring;

If the destination extension does not answer within 30 sec, the call is
forwarded to the operator.

Incoming call forwarded to operator
:

The caller dials the extension number using a telephone that is not compatible
with the DISA board;

No digit is entered;
−
Extension has blocked all direct incoming calls;

Extension set not to receive external calls;
−
Caller enters an invalid or incomplete extension number;
DISA board features :
DISA 1 channel : During 3 simultaneous incoming calls, the 1

is answered, the
second is put on hold and the third is forwarded to the operator.
DISA 2 channels : During 5 simultaneous incoming calls, the 1
st
and 2
nd
are
answered, the 3
rd
and 4
th
are put on hold and the 5
th
is forwarded to the operator.
