Baseboard Requirements

The SSI EEB specification enumerates various processor mounting locations. A board based on the

Intel Xeon processor with E7501 chipset must use the hole locations as specified in Figure 3-6 (SSI

EEB, Section 7.1, Figure 18). The baseboard manufacturer must work closely with the chassis

manufacturer to ensure these holes are available. Figure 3-7 enumerates all holes used by the

reference design.
