The Gateway
CD-ROM
The exact contents of the CD-ROM varies by Broadband
provider. Do not assume that the CDs are
interchangeable. One provider may have different default
software configurations than another, and the
configurations are often not compatible with each other.
Only use the CD supplied to you by your provider.
Reset Use a blunt object, such as a paper clip, to
press the reset switch. You can use the reset
switch to either:
• Reset the gateway without losing its current
setup values. Press, then immediately release
the reset switch.
• Reset the gateway to its factory-default values.
Press the reset switch and hold it in the pressed
state for at least 5 seconds before releasing it.
Internet Accepts an RJ-45 Ethernet-style connector for
attaching the gateway to your cable modem.
