USB port with charging function (USB Type-C)

At this USB port, you can charge a connected USB device or operate devices without an
additional power supply (see "
Connecting the notebook to the dock", Page 60).
You can also charge a connected USB de vice or operate devices without an additional power supply.
This is also possible with the notebook switche d off, if the USB Type-C Power Delivery
on System-Off fun ction is activated in the Advanced - Miscellaneous Configu rations menu
of the BIOS Setup Utility. Calling up and using t he B IOS Setup Utility is described
in section "
Settings in BIO S Setup Utility", Page 86.
USB devices are hot-pluggable. This means you can connect and d isconnect the
cables of USB devices while the operating system is running.
