Windows 10 Procedures
It is very imp ortant that yo u create your Reco very Drive b efo re beginning to use you r system.
It is also important that you create a backup of the content of the C:\Drivers folder on
your system to writab le m edia or an external drive. System-specific software drivers
are also available for down load through the Fujitsu support site.
In Windows 10 S con¿gurations, go to C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore.

Creating a recovery drive
A recovery drive ca n help y ou troubleshoot and ¿x problems with your PC, eve n if it
won’t start. To create on e, all you need is a USB Àash drive. Windows will inform you
ofthesizetheUSBÀash drive needed to hold the required data.
1. From the taskbar, search for Create a rec ove ry drive and then select it. You may be
asked to ente r an administrator pa ssword or con¿rm your selection.
2. When the tool opens, make sure Backup system files to the recovery drive
is selected and then select Next.
3. Connect a USB drive to your PC, select it, and then select Next - Create. A large number of
¿les need to be copied to the reco very drive, so th is could take some time.
4. When it’s done, select Finish.
Note:
If you chose not to back up the system ¿les when you created your recovery drive on
Windows 10, you won’t be able to use it to reinstall Windows.
