Using the Bluetooth D evice
Bluetooth is integrated into the Wireless LAN module. The Bluetooth capabilities are Bluetooth
Basic, EDR and Bluetooth Low Energy (BT v4.0 ) operational modes.
What is Bluetooth
Bluetooth technology is designed as a short-range wireless link b etween mobile devices, such
as laptop computers, phones, printers, and cameras. Blueto oth technology is used to create
Personal Area Networks (PANs) between devices in short-ran ge of each other.
Proceed as follows to individually enable or disable wireless LAN or Bluetooth devices:
1. Switch on the WLAN/Bluetooth via the key

.
2. In the screen Modern Start, select the option Charm s > Settings
> Change PC Settings > Wireless.
3. Under Wireless > Wireless Devices, click on the switch Bluetooth to switch on Bluetooth.

FCC Radiation Exposure Statement

environment. The Bluetooth an tenna is located at the top edge of the LC D screen and is exempt
from the criteria for minimum distance because of its low power consumption.
