IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This unit requires an AC adapter t o operate. Only use UL Listed I.T.E. adapters with an output rating
of 19 VDC, with a minimum current of 3.42A (65W). The correct output rating is indicated on the
AC adapter label. Refer to the illustration below for the correct AC adapter output polarity:
When using your notebook e quipm ent, basic safety precautions sho uld always be followed to
reduce the risk of ¿re, electric shock and injury to persons, including the following:
• Do not use this product n ear water for example, near a ba thtub, washbowl, kitchen
sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool.
• Use only the power cord and batteries indicated in this manual. Do not dispose of batteries in a
¿re. They may explode. Check with local codes f or possible special disposal instructions.

CAUTION:
For continued protection against risk of ¿re, replace only with the
same type and rating fuse.
WARNING:
Danger of exp losion if Lithium (CMOS) battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only
with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer.
Dispose of used batte ries according to the manufacturer ’s instruction.
