The wireless connection to a net
work does not work

Cause Troub leshooting
The wireless component is switched off. ► Switch the wireless component on ( see
"
Switch ing the wir eless compon ents on and
off", Page 36).
The wireless component is switched on. Desp ite
this, the wireless connection to a network does
not work.
► Check whether the wireless connection is
enabled by the software.

Smart Card reader is not
recognized
Cause
Troubleshooting
Smart Card inserted incorrectly. ► Make sure you have inserted your S mart
Card into the Smart Card reader with
the chip facing upwards / downwards
(device-dependent).
► Check whether the Smart Card you are
using is s upport ed. Your Smart Card must
comply with the ISO standard 7816-1, -2,
-3 and -4.
Smart Card PIN forgotten
