Display Description
Caps Lock indicator
IndicatorCapsLock
The indicator is illuminated: The Caps Lock key has been pressed. All the
characters you type will appear in upper case. In the c ase of overlay keys, the
character printed on the upp er left of the key will appear when that key is p ressed.

Switching the notebook on
► Open the LCD screen.
Switchingon
► Press the ON/OFF button for about one
second to switch on the notebook.
The power-on indicator of the notebook is lit.
Switching the notebook off
Back up your data and close all applications before you switch off your
device. Otherwise data might be lost.
► Shut down the operating syste m correctly.
Notebook
► If the notebook is not switched off
automatically, press the ON/OFF button
for approx. five seconds.
► Close the LCD screen.
