You can update individual IRUs by replacing all with a rack and slot number:
$> /usr/cpu/firmware/sysco/flashsc --12 10.1.1.1
/usr/cpu/firmware/sysco/l1.bin 1.16
This updates only the IRU in rack 1, slot 16.
