Cable Routing
When you add or remove components from your server chassis, make sure your cables are
routed correctly before reinstalling the chassis cover. Use caution to make sure no cables
or wires are pinched and that the airflow from the fans is not blocked.
Power Supply Specifications
The power supply specifications for your Intel
®
Server Chassis SC5650 depend upon the
configuration of chassis you purchased. Three power supply configurations are available:
• 600-W PFC Intel validated PSU (power supply unit) with integrated cooling fan (DP
configuration)
• 600-W PFC Intel validated PSU with integrated cooling fan. You can add one
additional 600-W PSU for redundancy. (BRP configuration)
• 1000-W PFC Intel validated PSU with integrated cooling fan. (WS configuration)
• 400-W PFC Intel validated PSU with integrated cooling fan. (UP configuration)
DP 600-W Power Supply Input Voltages
• 100-127 V at 50/60 Hz; 10 A max.
• 200-240 V at 50/60 Hz; 5 A max.
DP 600-W Power Supply Output Voltages
The following table lists the total wattage available from the power subsystem for each
voltage. Ensure your loads do not exceed the combined total wattage of 600 W. For
information about calculating the power usage for your configuration, see "Calculating
Power Usage."
