6. Supported IPMI Commands
This section specifies the IPMB commands received by the Intel
®
Local Control Panel. The
requests and responses for supported IPMI commands are also included if they vary from the
IPMI standard request/response data. The Intelligent Platform Management Interface
Specification 2.0 describes overall command format as well as further command details.
When sending requests to the Intel
®
Local Control Panel via the IPMB, set reserved bits to „0‟
unless otherwise noted. Reserved bit fields in responses should be ignored. It should not be
assumed that reserved bits will be returned as a particular fixed value, or that they will always
return the same value. Only unique data is described in this section to avoid conflicts with other
documents.
An X in the table represents command access. The following acronyms denote the operating
modes of the Intel
