4. Disconnect the fan power cables from the midplane board (see letter “A” in

Figure 81).

5. Press latch (see letter “B” in Figure 81) and slide fan assembly to the left (see letter

“C” in Figure 81).

6. Lift up to remove the fan assembly (see letter “D” in Figure 81).

Installing the System Fan Assembly

To install the system fan assembly, follow these steps:

1. Lower the system fan assembly into place (see letter “A” in Figure 82) and slide it

to the right (see letter “B” in Figure 82).
