2. Remove the filler panel from the add-in card slot (see letter “A” in Figure 30).
3. Remove the screw (see letter “B” in Figure 30).
4. Insert add-in card until it seats in riser card connector (see letter “C” in Figure 30).
5. Secure the add-in card with screw (see letter “D” in Figure 30).

6. Install the PCI riser assembly into the server system. For instructions, see
“Installing the PCI Riser Assembly” on page 42.
Removing a PCI Add-in Card
To remove a PCI add-in card, follow these steps:
1. Remove the PCI riser assembly. For instructions, see “Removing the PCI Riser
Assembly” on page 41.
2. Remove the screw securing the add-in card to the add-in card slot (see letter “A” in
Figure 31) .
3. Remove the PCI add-in card from the riser card connector (see letter “B” in
Figure 31).
