After purchasing the 2.5-inch fixed hard disk drive kit and the 2.5-inch solid state hard

disk drives, use the following instructions to install the 2.5-inch hard disk drives. In

addition to these instructions, refer to the instructions that came with your 2.5-inch hard

disk drives for additional requirements.

1. Remove the drive tray from the server system by pressing the blue release lever

(see letter “A” in Figure 81) and pushing it forward to release it and then sliding it

out from the front of the system (see letter “B” in Figure 81).

2. Place the 2.5-inch hard disk drives between the two brackets taking care to align the

screw holes in the hard drive with the grommets that are pre-installed in the
