2. Install the sixth hard drive filler panel as shown in Figure 77.

3. Slide the sixth HDD bracket into the backplane as shown in Figure 78.

The sixth hard disk drive kit comes with a power cable and two SATA cables.
Cabling for the sixth hard drive varies depending on which midplane you have in
your system.
4. Depending on the midplane installed in your system, do one of the following:
If you have an active midplane in your system, do the following:
a. Install one end of the power cable to the power connector on the backplane and
the opposite end to the power connector on the sixth HDD board (see letter “A”
in Figure 79).
